His fellow cops in the city of Crystal initially said the kicks were excessive and abusive and their testimony to that effect would have been enough to convict officer Anderson. Did they back off on their statements at trial? Why? Who got to them?
Not guilty doesn't mean that what he did isn't wrong. It merely is a reflection of which side presented the best case in the courtroom.
